Project Genset:

AMICO 5,000kW coal mine gas generator set

Project Background:

To solve the problem of power supply and make full use of the coalbed gas and reduce the pollution in the mine, our customer desired to adopt AMICO coalbed gas gensets to power the coal mine production and State Grid.

Project Introduction:

5 × 1,000kW AMICO coal mine gas generator sets generate 400V power, and then the power boosts to 6,000V through 2 sets of transformers. After that, the power will transmit to the local transformer substation in which the electricity is distributed to the local life and production system and State Grid. The exhaust gas produced by coalbed gas gensets is directly introduced into the heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) to supply heat for workshops and offices.

Project Principle:

After drainage,the coalbed gas was introduced into the AMICO coalbed gas gensets which are composed of 5 × 1,000kW single gas gensets. These coal mine gas generator sets generate power through conveying pipe.Then our gensets generate 400V power and the power will boost to 6,000V through 2 sets of transformers.After that, the power will be seperately distributed to I and II line in transformer substation to power the mine production and State Grid.

Benefit Analysis:

5 × 1,000kW AMICO coalbed gas gensets own 28,800,000kWh power generating capacity, which can create an annual profit of US$1,860,000. At the same time, the coalbed gas will burn into CO2,this brings less pollution to the environment than the original coalbed gas.
